Welcome to the 104th Special Airborne Rescue Squadron (S.A.R.S.) Airsoft Team Homepage. 104th S.A.R.S. was started in July 2008 in Coos Bay, Oregon. Many of the members who are on the team have played together for 4+ years!
S.A.R.S. is in NO way associated with the United States Military, but does wear the same style of uniform as the United States Military among other uniforms.
104th S.A.R.S. is based after a Joint Air Force Pararescue Squadron and has the same rank structure. Not only we train for force on force tactics but also rescue and recovery. We try to train in all aspects in airsoft gameplay.
We are participants of the Airsoft Pacific (AP) League and take part in events as frequently as possible. We follow AP field rules in our games and the Feet per second limits.
As a team we are always working to lead and be the best in all we do. We provide a family
fun and safe environment to all who show up and play. As a mil-sim team (a team who trains as a military unit) we are always working on our skills to become better in events and welcomes anyone who wants to play just for fun or who wants to join the team.
Airsoft is a sport which simulates military skirmishes using weapons modeled after real firearms but which only fire small (6mm) plastic bbs. S.A.R.S. and its members are not responsable for the risk of injury from the activity and weaponry involved in airsoft , including the potential for permanent disability and death, and while particular protective equipment and personal discipline will minimize this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist.
Please note that the fields we play on are not desinged for airsoft game play.
S.A.R.S. and its members are not responsable for lost, stolen, or damaged gear. Equipment will be loaned out at owner's own risk. The owner is fully responsible for his/her equipment. Any damage done to the equipment is not at anyone's fault but the owner's not the team. The owner and the person the gear was lent out to will have to decide what should happen if gear becomes damaged.
There is a zero tolerance policy for drugs for all members.
There is a zero tolerance policy for fighting, both on and off the field.
There is a zero tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment.
There is a zero tolerance policy for theft.
All personal weapons will be logged in individual profile to keep track of the ownership of weapons.
