Intro To Elder Roberts (brotherhood Of Steel)
(Play 30 second Ecerpt Of Metal On Metal-Inon Zur)
Elder: My Goodness It is good to see you haven't gone Feral yet Roach!
Roach: Odat, ya know, One day at a time, that has been my Mantra for 250 years. And greetings wastelanders! Sheriff Hess has granted a temporary Pass to Allow Elder Roberts to visit and trade with Pallet town and I now have him in my studio. Now one thing People may not realize, and I did not Realize is that the Brotherhood of steel has been longstanding fan of this Program.
Elder: Yes well it is a guilty pleasure to say the least, however, Our mission has always been to preserve the tech of old and you are the only one who has been able To keep The station equipment running, hence we believe it was best to make sure yo kept it going, It is good to hear the music in our bunker
Roach: its good to hear it anywhere! Now lets hit brass tacks whats the nature of your visit?
Elder: I will be frank, Our mission is arduous and not without its challenges. Some may forget with the zelousness of our younger Members that our goal is for the safety of what's left of our world. The old world tech, the advanced militarized equipment led to the destruction you see all around, so by studying and securing it we can prevent future disasters.
Roach:So This little interview is more of a mission statement to clarify your aims?
Elder:In Part, In second we are extending an olive branch to the peoples of the wasteland to announce we are opening our doors to initiates
Roach: Hold up, Hold up, Hold Up! You are going to let any Tom, thingy and Harry to become Paladins?
Elder:Not quite think of it as a bit of a trial recuitment, The most adept, will have opportunity to be welcome in the bunker full time, and entered in our breeding program so their Fledlings have the chance for a brighter tomorrow.
Roach:That sounds More like the Brotherhood I know, now Wastelanders on the surface this may not sound like a great chance, To be an outcast living with isolationists, but let me tell you, Theres a lot of darkness across the wastes so a bright light in hole in the ground for the next generation is better than some offers you may get.
Elder:I was worried you might spin this against me but I appreciate you being forthright and fair with this interview.
Roach: What can I say, I'm a sucker for my fans, any requests?
Elder: Just keep The music going.
Roach: Brother, I can't stop, In fact If ever there is silence on the airaves: That'll be the day, that I Day!
