So I fig for the next zombie fest I'd like to try a gas mask for effect and show.
At Andy and Bax I came across this surplus US mask. It's a NBC mask an the cool thing about this mask is that it's tri chambered.
The first chamber is the filter chamber. When air is drawn inside it passes the cheek filters. there is ofcourse a one way valve located on the outside of the mask.
When the air on the 2nd breath is drawn the filtered air passed by ports next to the lenses to directly vent the lenses.
Your 3rd breath draws the the air that's just air dryed your lenses and was resting around your eyes and checks to the muzzle cone. The muzzle cone has a one way valve so air exhaled will not go into the lenses chamber.
Then breath 4 pushes the muzzle cone air back to the outside world.
The mask seems to do real well outside in the cold.
When I when up to my bed room area where it's a 5-10 degree diff some fogging occurred. This was easy to unfog you just inhaled faster.
The other cool thing about the M10 is that there is a hydration tube for either old school canteen drawn water or you can get a camel bak adaptor.
Grand total 39.99

I think most modern gas masks have those features, my Israeli mask has the lens defoger, and a connectable hydration tube.

Strips needs a child size or EXSmall mask lol. For me the M10 fits well and I can still look through my iron sights on my M4 and G36. But yeah is all about the right style and size.
I fig it be cool for zombi fest or of they have a op that a mask could be used.
I know for the years I've played there's only 3 games where a mask would have been a tactical advantage. But most teams don't have em anyways. But agian the M10 works for me. I just thought I'd put up a quick review of it.

Also the mask came with a carry bag that can be attached to a belt or by sling. It includes the filters and a spare set of lenses too. All packaged never opened. That was the sell point for me.
